I don't know what to say. It was really a great read. With a little taboo element.McKay & Grant road to happiness wasn't easy. How can you go from...:
* ...ending relationship and starting new one with your ex dad;
* ...starting relationship with your son's ex.
It's really wasn't easy for both of them. To make up your mind, if this what they are having, is worth the damage it would done to another person. They fought it. Damn they tried. But the passion, emotions were much stronger.
I was rooting for McKay and Grant from the beginning. They were meant to be together. Desire between them.... I was feeling it. It felt like those emotions where directed at me. It was so strong. Liked interaction between them out of the bed. Or kitchen. Or wall. Lol.
The one problem I found is the end. I felt like there should have been added more few chapters. Or there should be a novella. Because there were some things left unfinished.

I really liked the book but was a bit disappointed in the ending. I felt like more could have been written. It was almost a cliff hanger to me. otherwise the book and the real struggle to be happy was great. Grant and McKay's relationship is what we would consider taboo for me that was a big draw into reading this book. It isn't an every day romance that we're used to but it is a romance. I always love the twists that Avril Ashton gives. As always I'll be reading more of her books.
That First Mistake is a winner in my book. Again the only issue I had was that I felt that there could have been more at the end.
The girl in this book is a whore, I really want my money back. I'm not reading anything else by this author
Love this book. Love McKay and Grants relationship. Grand and Kay had crazy Chemistry. Seth was just too young and IMMATURE for her. This was a great read. You will not be disappointed in this book.
Grant and McKay's story is one crazy ride. The premise of the story is shocking in itself. A father falling for his son's ex girlfriend and have a hot, steamy affair could be a turnoff but it's not. It is a hot, erotic read that is impossible to put down.
Another great read by an amazing author.

Not worth the money. Grant was beyond pathetic and selfish. Sometimes you just have to walk away. McKay was no better.
I liked this book because it gave me a well deserved break from the scrappy interracial books that are out there now. A plethora of billionaires stepbrother-billionaires, baby mama billionare, shifter stepbrother baby mama billionaires. Damn you fifty shades!!! I was relieve with something different, girl has a boy meets boys father sparks fly and Wahoo!! Made my hair blow back. Handled with another author and this could have been a big old mess. Instead adult stuff happens people got hurt and love won the day, isn't that what we all want from a good romance? Well I for one liked this book and thanks Avril for not jumping on the same train so many great authors are stuck there and I for one am over it.
